4. HIPAA & Protected Health Information

Good Rack Medical Billing Services operates as a Business Associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We handle Protected Health Information (PHI) solely for the purpose of providing contracted billing services to your practice.

A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) will be executed as part of your service agreement before any PHI is shared with us. We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect PHI in accordance with HIPAA requirements.

Do not submit any patient information, PHI, or sensitive health data through the contact form on this website. The contact form is for general inquiries only and is not a secure channel for transmitting protected information.

Upon termination, Good Rack Medical Billing Services will return or securely destroy any PHI or client data in our possession in accordance with HIPAA requirements and the terms of the Business Associate Agreement.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York.
